Job summary
Hunter Selection are assisting a market-leading manufacturing business in Hyde to recruit an electrically biased Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will maintain production equipment, diagnose faults, and drive improvements to maximise uptime.
The role offers Monday to Friday, no nights or weekends, with overtime available and a benefits package including pension, training & development and 28 days holiday. A clear path for development and long-term stability is provided.
Qualifications
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification or equivalent.
- Strong fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production equipment.
- Responding to breakdowns and repairing faults to minimise downtime.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and implementing fixes.
- Working with Maintenance Manager and engineering team.
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects.
- Assisting with machinery upgrades and process improvements.
- Ensuring work complies with health and safety standards.
