Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking an Electrical Workshop Assistant to support the delivery of Electrical Installation programmes at a Surrey FE college. You will help lecturers and students during practical sessions, prepare tools and materials, and maintain a safe, organized workshop environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in electrical environments, practical knowledge of tools and a solid understanding of health and safety in learning settings, with strong organisational skills and

About the Role

We are working with an FE College in Surrey who are looking for an Electrical Workshop Assistant to support the delivery of Electrical Installation programmes and maintain a safe, organised workshop environment.

• Support lecturers and students during practical Electrical Installation sessions
• Prepare tools, equipment and materials for workshop activities
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure all areas meet health and safety requirements
• Assist with stock control, ordering materials and general workshop organisation

What we are looking for

• Previous experience within Electrical Installation or a related electrical environment
• Good practical knowledge of electrical tools, equipment and workshop procedures
• An understanding of health and safety within a practical learning environment
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
