RecruitedUK is seeking an experienced Electrician or Engineer to join as a Workshop Technician at our client's state-of-the-art training centre in Orpington. You will provide hands-on guidance to apprentices, help create a safe, well-equipped workshop, and support trainers in delivering practical, high-quality learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Engineering NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) required.
• AM2 and 2391 knowledge preferred/required.
• Proven industry/occupational experience required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician or Engineer to join one of the UK's leading training providers as a Workshop Technician.

This is a fantastic chance to play a key role in shaping the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Based at our client's state-of-the-art training centre in Orpington, you'll support apprentices by providing hands-on guidance in a well-equipped, professional learning environment.

The Role

As a Workshop Technician, you will:

• Provide practical support and guidance to apprentices during training sessions
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organised, and effective workshop environment
• Support trainers in delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences
• Ensure equipment and resources are prepared and maintained to a high standard

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Electrical or Engineering NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
• AM2 and 2391 knowledge
