Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Tutor to join a training provider. You will teach, coach and mentor learners undertaking electrical installation and maintenance qualifications, leveraging your time-served experience in electrical maintenance/installation.

The role requires an L3 or higher qualification and ideally an assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) along with a teaching qualification. Training will be provided if qualifications are not yet held.

Qualifications

• Time served electrical professional with experience in electrical maintenance / installation.
• L3 Electrical Installation qualification completed.
• A1, TAQA or equivalent assessor qualification desirable.
• Teaching qualification desirable.
• Five years' occupational experience within electrical installation/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Train, motivate and support learners towards achieving electrical maintenance qualifications.
• Develop, implement and evaluate training materials, promoting standardisation and using approved training methods.
• Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met.

An opportunity to join an innovative and well-established training provider, we are looking for an Electrical Tutor / Assessor to join their successful team.You will be responsible for teaching, coaching and mentoring learners undertaking qualifications in Electrical Installation and Maintenance. You will be a time served electrical professional with experience in electrical maintenance / installation, with a L3 or above qualification.Ideally you will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent), and a teaching qualification. If you do not hold these qualifications but have a genuine desire to move into a training role, full training will be given!

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: ELECTRICAL TUTOR

• A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.) (desirable)
• Teaching qualification (desirable)
• L3 Electrical Installation qualification
• A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within electrical installation / maintenance
