Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Tutor/Assessor to join a fast-growing training provider in West Yorkshire, Centre based. The role involves delivering a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, with on-site visits and classroom delivery.

You will contribute to curriculum design, manage learner progress documentation and support learners with diverse needs. Excellent holiday entitlement and pension are included.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Electrical Apprenticeships up to Level 3.
• Must hold Teaching and Assessor Awards (AET, PTLLS) and TAQA/CAVA/A1 or D Units.
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance and C&G 2382 18th edition.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship with practical and theoretical components.
• Contribute to curriculum design and learning resources.
• Carry out on-site visits to assess learners in the workplace and in class.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners’ needs.

Job Title:Electrical Tutor / Assessor

Location:West Yorkshire – Centre based

Salary:£45,000 + OTE of up to £8k

This is great opportunity to join an established training provider, to support the growth and development of their brand-new, Electrical Engineering department.

Duties include:

• Deliver a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, covering both practical and theoretical competencies (one to one and group delivery).
• Contribute to curriculum design and development, supporting the creation of practical tasks, assessments and learning resources.
• Carry out on site visits, to assess learners within their place of work, in addition to classroom-based training.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in a similar role, delivering Electrical Apprenticeships, up to Level 3.
• Must hold a recognised Teaching and Assessor Awards (AET, PTLLS etc) and (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D Units)
• Must hold the following qualifications:
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance
  • C&G 2382 18thedition or equivalent.
• Strong competency, as an Electrician.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
