Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Installation Trainer / Assessor in Wakefield. You will deliver electrical installation training to apprentices and industry learners, guiding practical and classroom development.

No teaching experience is required as full teacher training and assessor qualifications will be provided. You will progress by mentoring learners and expanding into renewables such as Solar PV and EV charging.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
Strong Electrical Installation industry experience.
Experience as an Electrician, Approved Electrician or Electrical Supervisor.
Interest in renewable technologies and ongoing professional development.
Willing to move into training and education; no teaching experience required.

Responsibilities

Deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices and learners.
Support practical workshops and classroom learning.
Assess learner progress and provide guidance.
Deliver apprenticeships and commercial training courses.
Gain training in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV charging and Inspection & Testing.
Full teaching and assessor training provided.
Monday to Friday, Wakefield based.

This role would suit an experienced Electrician who enjoys mentoring others and wants to build a long-term career in education. Teaching experience is not required, as full teacher training, assessor qualifications and training in emerging technologies will be provided.
