Job summary

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors. An Electrical Tutor/Assessor role in Oxfordshire involves delivering Level 3 Electrical Installation/Maintenance Apprenticeships, both practical and theoretical, and supporting learners to complete End Point Assessments.

The candidate should hold an Assessor award and a Level 3 Teaching qualification, be a qualified Electrician, and have at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Assessor award: D32/33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
• Must hold a Level 3 Teaching qualification: AET/PTLLS, or above.
• Must be a qualified Electrician, Level 3 (Domestic).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrician.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation/Maintenance Apprenticeships at Level 3 and relevant short courses, across practical and theoretical competencies.
• Assist with the development and implementation of learning resources.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Support learners to ensure they are fully prepared for End Point Assessment.

Location: Oxfordshire - Site/Field based (Must be flexible with travel)

Salary: up to £50,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
• Must hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification: AET/PTLLS, or above.
• Must be a qualified Electrician, holding a minimum of a Level 3 (Domestic).
• Must hold a minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrician.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
