Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Tutor/Assessor to join a brand-new Electrical Engineering department in West Yorkshire. The role focuses on delivering Level 3 Apprenticeships, with both practical and theoretical components, 1:1 and group delivery, at a centre-based site and in learners' workplaces.

You will contribute to curriculum design, develop practical tasks and assessments, and maintain learning resources.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Electrical Apprenticeships up to Level 3.
• Must hold recognised Teaching and Assessor Awards (AET, PTLLS) and TAQA/CAVA/A1 or D Units.
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
• C&G 2382 18th edition or equivalent.
• Strong electrical competency as a tradesperson.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, covering both practical and theoretical competencies (one to one and group delivery).
• Contribute to curriculum design and development, supporting the creation of practical tasks, assessments and learning resources.
• Carry out on site visits, to assess learners within their place of work, in addition to classroom-based training.

Job Title: Electrical Tutor / Assessor

Salary: £45,000 + OTE of up to £8k

This is great opportunity to join an established training provider, to support the growth and development of their brand-new, Electrical Engineering department.

Duties include:

• Deliver a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, covering both practical and theoretical competencies (one to one and group delivery).

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in a similar role, delivering Electrical Apprenticeships, up to Level 3.

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance
