Job summary

Find. is recruiting an Electrical Training Officer to support apprentices across the South Yorkshire region in a home-based role with regional travel. The role suits an experienced Electrical Assessor or a qualified Electrician moving into training and assessment.

You will manage caseloads, conduct workplace visits, assess progress, mentor learners and work with employers to monitor development while ensuring compliance and progression to End Point Assessment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
• Industry experience as a qualified electrician.
• Assessing experience beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Electrical Installation apprentices.
• Carry out workplace visits and progress reviews.
• Assess apprentice knowledge, skills and behaviours against apprenticeship standards.
• Support, coach and mentor learners throughout their apprenticeship.
• Work closely with employers to monitor progress and development.
• Provide feedback and guidance to help apprentices achieve.
• Complete learner reviews, reports and compliance documentation.
• Ensure apprentices remain on track towards completion and End Point Assessment.
• Promote safeguarding, health & safety and industry best practice.
