Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking an Electrical Training Coordinator to join our Apprenticeships team at Bedford College – Cauldwell Street Campus. This full-time role involves coaching apprentices, tracking progress, engaging employers, and ensuring quality training in line with standards.

We require Level 3 vocational qualification, GCSE English and Maths, TAQA Level 3, and willingness to achieve TAQA Level 4 and 18th Edition.

Qualifications

• Desired Level 3 vocational qualification and GCSEs in English and Maths.
• TAQA Level 3 with a view to TAQA Level 4 and 18th Edition.
• Experience in NVQ training and assessment and classroom delivery.

Responsibilities

• Apprentice support and development, coaching in the workplace.
• Progress tracking and compliance with audit-ready records.
• Engagement with employers and tutors to align training plans.
• Delivery of training, reviews, SMART targets, and quality assurance.
• Uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity, and health & safety standards.
