Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an Electrician to perform EICRs and remedial electrical work in occupied social housing properties across postcodes in the UK. The role involves testing, fault resolution and customer-focused service with a company van and training provided.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ3 Electrical Installation, 2391, City & Guilds 2365, 18th Edition, and a valid UK driving licence, with proven EICR experience and ability to work independently on a defined patch.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.
• City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 & 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Experience carrying out EICRs and remedial works.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) within occupied residential properties
• Completing remedial works following inspection and testing activities
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently and safely
• Renewing and repairing electric showers, immersion heaters and pumps
• Undertaking testing and inspection works in line with current regulations
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in compliance with industry standards
• Accurately recording completed works and certification
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service to residents at all times
• Working independently across a designated patch while managing workload effectively

Salary: £26.60 Per Hour (Temp) | £44,819 Per Annum (Permanent)

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week (Monday to Friday)

An Electrician is required to join a leading provider of housing maintenance and property services. The role will primarily focus on carrying out EICRs, remedial works and electrical maintenance within occupied homes.

Candidates must be confident carrying out work on showers, immersion heaters and pumps. Previous experience within social housing, domestic maintenance or property services environments is highly desirable.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) within occupied residential properties
• Completing remedial works following inspection and testing activities
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently and safely

• Ability to renew and repair showers, immersion heaters and pumps
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Previous experience within social housing, domestic maintenance or property services is desirable
