Job summary

phs Compliance in Coventry is seeking an Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer to join our expanding team. You will carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs), plus emergency lighting, fire alarms, and mains analysis. A full UK driving license is required and a range of qualifications are requested.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2 are required.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition is required.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 qualifications are preferred.
• AM2 qualification is preferred.
• Experience in electrical testing environments and with electrical installations is expected.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations and good IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs).
• Completing Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis and Thermal Imaging.
• Undertaking minor remedial repairs as required.
• Completing reports and certification using cloud-based software.
• Ensuring all documentation is submitted accurately and on time.
