phs Compliance is recruiting an Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer for the Coventry area. The role focuses on inspecting and testing electrical installations (EICRs), emergency lighting, fire alarms, mains analysis and thermal imaging, with a focus on accurate reporting and timely documentation.

The ideal candidate will have industry qualifications, UK health and safety knowledge, IT literacy and a full UK driving licence. A company vehicle and uncapped bonus are among the benefits offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395.
• AM2 qualification.
• Experience working in an electrical testing environment.
• Experience with electrical installation or project work.
• Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations.
• Good IT literacy.
• IPAF 3a & 3b licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs).
• Completing Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis and Thermal Imaging.
• Undertaking minor remedial repairs as required.
• Completing reports and certification using cloud-based software.
• Ensuring all documentation is submitted accurately and on time.

• Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs)
