British Engineering Services Group is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer (Housing) to perform electrical testing in social housing across the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire area, including domestic and communal areas. You will deliver remedial works and ensure compliance with safety standards.
You will liaise with tenants and customers, record documentation via CRM, and maintain stock levels for efficient first-time fixes.
Qualificações
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation work (e.g. C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365).
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (2394/2395).
- JIB Gold Card.
- BS7671 18th edition (or willing to achieve this before starting).
- Full driving licence held for 12 months (minimum).

- Maintain van stocks and support first-time fixes in the area.

To be considered for this role you will live within the South Tyneside area (e.g. Hebburn, Jarrow or south of the Tyne Tunnel) and be happy traveling across the region including to Sunderland and Middlesborough.
As an Electrical Test Engineer (Housing) for British Engineering Services Group Electrical, you will carry out electrical testing within the social housing industry within the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire area. Within this role, you will undertake electrical testing in domestic/ communal areas and carry out any associated remedial works identified.
- To work individually or as part of a group undertaking high quality electrical repairs testing and / or remedial works as required.
- To comply with BS7671 standards and company standards of work performance, ensuring implementation and compliance within electrical policies and procedures.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilise both our CRM system and reporting software to accurately record electrical documentation.
- You will be expected to carry out electrical condition reporting, repairs and installations to the highest of standards.
- Liaise with tenants, customers and members of our supply chain.
- Maintain van stocks and provide information enabling the improvements of first time fixes for the area you work within.
- Realistic earnings of up to £50,000 (including guaranteed base salary of£35,100)
