Job summary
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting an Electrician to maintain and supervise electrical systems and services on site in Wakefield. You will ensure safety standards, meet KPIs/SLA targets and support service partners to deliver high-quality maintenance activities.
The role requires 18th Edition, City & Guilds electrical qualification, and IOSH Managing Safely, with strong fault-finding and coordination experience. A proactive, safety-focused communicator is essential.
Qualifications
- 18th Edition Qualification required.
- City & Guilds level in electrical disciplines.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
- GCSE Maths and English or recognised equivalent.
- Experience in fault finding and reactive maintenance.
- Experience with building management systems (Concept or similar).
- Strong ability to interface with staff at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all electrical activities meet safety standards and KPIs/SLA targets.
- Provide support and supervision to service partners.
- Communicate findings and provide guidance to service delivery.
- Issue work permits and review safety documentation.
- Wear PPE and complete required training/e-learning.
- Monitor stock levels of consumables and complete logbooks.
