Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Electrical Technician in Cambridge to support reactive and planned maintenance of building engineering systems. You will maintain low voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with wiring regulations and safety practices. Key requirements include a City & Guilds Level 3 technical certificate and completion of an apprenticeship in electrical installation. This role involves collaborating with teams, conducting fault repairs, and maintaining equipment while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Technical training (NVQ3 or equivalent) for non-supervisory roles.
• Must hold a City & Guilds Level 3 technical certificate or equivalent.
• Completion of CBRE refresher training in electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all low voltage electrical distribution and lighting systems.
• Deliver small works projects with the Projects team.
• Conduct fault finding and repairs on AC/DC control systems.
