Job summary

MasterMover is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to support the assembly, testing, and commissioning of low-voltage DC electrical systems used in our electric tugs. You will collaborate with production to ensure quality, safety, and operational standards on each unit.

This hands-on role focuses on wiring looms, control panels, motors, and electrical components, with emphasis on accurate documentation and adherence to HS&E guidelines in a fast-paced factory environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly and wiring, including wiring looms and crimping.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage DC systems and electrical compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and harness drawings.
• Practical fault finding, electrical testing and commissioning experience.
• Experience with software installation and setting parameter files.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical systems for electric tugs, including wiring looms, switches, relays, motors, and control panels.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings and harness diagrams to guide production assembly.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Install software and set machine parameters.
• Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on production units as needed.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and reports.
