Job summary

Formula One Management Limited invites an experienced Electrician to join the Race Engineering & Infrastructure team, delivering critical electrical systems for live events and broadcast facilities. You will install, commission, test, maintain, and support power infrastructure across the Event Technical Centre and International Broadcast Compound, ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Industrial and commercial electrical installation experience.
• Experience with temporary power systems in events or broadcast environments.
• Experience with electrical testing, installation and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of electrical systems across Event Technical Centre and International Broadcast Compound.
• Oversee third‑party suppliers for power equipment delivery/installation.
• Install, commission and monitor electrical distribution equipment and UPS systems.
• Carry out testing of electrical installations and maintain testing records.
• Provide monitoring and standby support during broadcast operations.
• Ensure electrical activities meet health and safety requirements and standards.
• Support build/maintenance of electrical systems across the wider business.
• Complete fixed wiring and bespoke installation activities.
• Interpret and produce basic electrical documentation.
• Carry out maintenance, inspection and portable appliance testing.
• Support electrical compliance, testing and verification processes.
• Provide delivery support across Energy Transition projects.
• Prepare electrical equipment/consumables for freight and deployment.
• Support wider departmental activities, including race cover duties.
