Job summary

Formula One Management Limited is seeking a talented electrical engineer to join the Race Engineering and Infrastructure team for a 2-year fixed-term contract. You will design and implement electrical infrastructure and power solutions powering F1 events globally.

You will develop concepts into detailed designs, produce drawings and documentation, and collaborate with partners to ensure safe, reliable operations under demanding live-event conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience producing electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of LV power distribution systems.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into manufacturable electrical designs.
• Experience supporting engineering projects through design, review and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop temporary power distribution systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Produce electrical drawings, schematics and wiring schedules for manufacture.
• Develop switchgear assemblies and UPS-backed power solutions.
• Collaborate with project engineers, operations teams and suppliers.
• Verify designs meet safety and industry standards.
