Job Description

Infinity Employment is seeking an Electrical Team Leader to work within a technical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of electrical assemblers and will also be involved in assembling electrical components and systems in accordance with engineering schematics and diagrams. This is a permanent position for the right candidate.

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties:

1. Lead a small team with effective communication and a positive manner.
2. Understand electrical processes to oversee and control operations.
3. Problem solving to identify and manage technical issues.
4. Assemble electrical components using hand tools and power tools.
5. Read and interpret engineering schematics and diagrams.
6. Utilise surface mount technology to assemble electronic circuits.
7. Apply mechanical knowledge to assist in the assembly process.
8. Work with logic controllers to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.

Requirements:

• Proven leadership qualities.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly work.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Mechanical knowledge to support assembly tasks.
• Familiarity with surface mount technology for electronic circuit assembly.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
