Job Description: Job Title: Electrical Systems Engineer. Reports to: Assistant Repairs & Maintenance Manager (Electrical). Department: Property Safety. Location: Sunderland.
We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Property Safety team. You’ll play a key role in delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality services across the City of Sunderland, ensuring our customers receive the best experience every time.
You’ll carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance on systems including Intruder Alarms, Door Entry/Access Control, Fire Alarms, and minor electrical works such as heating controls and BMS panels.
You’ll also complete inspections and remedial lighting repairs in non-domestic buildings, ensuring compliance with British Standards and IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).
We ask that you adopt a flexible approach to meet the business’s needs, including working out-of-hours on a rota basis as required.
