Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR in the UK is seeking an Engineer – Electrical Systems Analysis to support modelling, studies and technical datasets for the SMR power plant. You will contribute to concept evaluation, design development, and safety case substantiation within a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers hybrid working with Derby, Manchester or Warrington as the primary site, a salary of £42,000 to £55,150, and a comprehensive benefits package including bonus potential and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical engineering within a regulated or complex engineering environment.
• Practical experience with electrical power system analysis.
• Ability to develop and interpret electrical system models with guidance.
• Experience supporting concept evaluation, design development or substantiation.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of electrical system models for analysis and design maturation.
• Develop and quality-check electrical datasets (load and cable schedules).
• Perform electrical studies using agreed methods and tools.
• Produce calculations and outputs for engineering review.
