Job summary

Scolmore Group is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for our Technical & Quality Department. This office-based role at our head office in Tamworth provides expert technical support across the product portfolio and requires resolving technical queries with accuracy and care.

Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, supporting quotations, and maintaining comprehensive technical data and documentation, while collaborating with local sales teams.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical knowledge including wiring and installation practices.
• Proven problem-solving skills to identify practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Customer-focused and professional approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer enquiries by telephone and email.
• Provide clear guidance on Scolmore Group products to customers and sales teams.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues through research and troubleshooting.
• Interpret drawings and electrical schedules to produce distribution board drawings in Illustrator.
• Log technical support cases and maintain documentation for reporting.
