Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for a large heavy industrial site in Rugby. You will lead electrical maintenance across the plant, coordinate breakdown support, and drive reliability improvements and safe shut-down activity.

The role requires hands-on supervision, an electrical trade qualification, and experience with HV systems up to 11kV, motors, switchgear, VSDs, and contractor management. Excellent benefits accompany a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC/HND or equivalent.
• Strong heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• HV experience up to 11kV.
• Industrial motors, switchgear and electrical distribution.
• VSD/VFD drive experience.
• Planned and reactive maintenance.
• Strong fault finding and breakdown experience.
• Experience supervising engineers and contractors.
• Good health & safety knowledge.
• IOSH/NEBOSH advantageous.
• SAP maintenance experience useful.

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor or Electrical Team Leader from a heavy industrial or process environment?

We’re recruiting for a major UK industrial business in Rugby and are keen to hear from candidates with backgrounds in cement, aggregates, quarrying, asphalt, minerals, power , waste-to-energy, recycling, steel or heavy manufacturing.

Experience with businesses such as Tarmac, Breedon, Heidelberg Materials, Aggregate Industries/Holcim, CRH, quarrying or other large process/manufacturing operators would be highly relevant.

This is a hands-on supervisory role leading electrical maintenance activity across a large operational site.

What we’re looking for

Cement or aggregates experience is advantageous, but not essential. We are equally interested in strong candidates from other heavy process environments.

The role

You’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day electrical maintenance, supporting breakdowns, improving plant reliability, allocating labour, managing contractors and helping deliver major shutdown activity safely and efficiently.

Hours

Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm
Friday 8:00am–3:30pm
On-call approximately 1 week in 7.

Salary

Up to £55,000, depending on experience, plus benefits.
