Job summary

TCS Contracts is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join a professional maintenance team in Rugby. You will oversee electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring safe, efficient and high-standard completion of planned and reactive works.

You will manage PPM schedules, respond to reactive maintenance, and support the wider engineering team to maintain reliable site operations. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Job description

TCS Contracts are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisors to join a professional maintenance and engineering team in Rugby.

We are currently offering both Permanent and Temporary/Contract opportunities, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced Electrical Supervisors with a strong background in PPM, reactive maintenance and site-based electrical engineering.

The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical maintenance activities across the site, ensuring planned and reactive works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You will play a key role in managing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, responding to reactive maintenance requirements and supporting the wider engineering team to maintain reliable site operations.

The role will include:

• Supervising and coordinating electrical maintenance activities.
• Managing and overseeing PPM schedules to ensure planned works are completed on time.
• Responding to and coordinating reactive maintenance and breakdown works.
• Leading and supporting maintenance engineers and contractors.
• Ensuring electrical systems and equipment are maintained to the required standards.
• Carrying out fault finding, inspections and maintenance activities where required.
• Ensuring all works comply with relevant health & safety and electrical regulations.
• Monitoring maintenance performance and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Supporting continuous improvement and preventative maintenance initiatives.
• Liaising with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Participating in the site's on-call rota.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
• Weekend on-call: 1 in 7 weeks, from Friday afternoon through to Monday morning

Permanent Package

£50,000 - £54,000 per annum

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor with a proven background in site-based electrical maintenance and the ability to lead and coordinate maintenance activities.

You should have:

• Previous experience working as an Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.
• Strong experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• A good understanding of electrical maintenance, fault finding and compliance.
• Experience supervising engineers, contractors or maintenance teams.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and electrical compliance.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to prioritise planned and reactive maintenance requirements.
• Flexibility and confidence to participate in a 1-in-7 on-call rota.
