Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment in line with specifications and regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Execute electrical wiring for lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Ensure all wiring adheres to safety standards and local regulations.
• Conduct tests to verify the functionality and safety of electrical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently using appropriate testing equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of work completed, including installation and maintenance logs.
• Complete documentation to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Adhere to and enforce all on-site health and safety protocols.
• Ensure all work aligns with current wiring regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671).
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Participate in site meetings to report on progress and address any issues.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3).
• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plus.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
• Certification in inspection and testing (e.g., City & Guilds 2391) is advantageous.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• ECS Card or equivalent certification required.
