Job summary

Streamline Services Consultancy Limited seeks an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical installations on commercial projects valued between £500,000 and £2 million. You will manage site operations, supervise crews and subcontractors, and coordinate with trades to deliver safely, on time and to spec.

The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to manage projects from installation through testing, commissioning and handover, and a strong background in commercial electrical

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations (power, lighting, containment, distribution).
• Experience managing projects valued £500,000–£2 million.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.
• Leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Good understanding of electrical health and safety requirements.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and current industry certifications.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• ECS/JIB card appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all electrical installation works on commercial projects.
• Supervise electricians, subcontractors and site operatives.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Monitor progress and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate electrical works with other trades and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, method statements and risk assessments.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Manage labour allocation, site attendance and productivity.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure availability.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress reports.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
• Ensure works meet required standards and project specs.
