Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an electrical installation and maintenance technician to join a multi disciplined team across client sites in Manchester. The role covers installations, testing, refurbishment and reactive maintenance on buildings and plant.

You will hold 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2361 Parts 1 and 2, and AM1/AM2 practical tests (or equivalent) and act as Competent Person (Electrical) as required by the Authorised Person.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition electrical certification is required.
• City & Guilds 2361 Parts 1 and 2 Electrical Certificate is required.
• AM1/AM2 Practical Tests completed (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations for New Works and Breakdowns.
• Testing and inspecting electrical installations in accordance with National Inspection Council documentation.
• Carrying out refurbishment works arising from breakdown or maintenance inspections.
• Responding to Helpdesk reactive maintenance / breakdown calls and carrying out remedial work as required.
• Assume the role of Competent Person (Electrical) as authorised by the Authorised Person.
• Covering both of the client site locations.
• Other reasonable duties as agreed with EFS management.
