Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland seeks a maintenance technician to support site operations in Livingston. You will perform mechanical and building services maintenance, testing and corrective works on various plant and systems.

The role requires electrical discipline qualifications (C&G/BTEC ONC/OND or NVQ level 3), HVCA exposure, and good IT literacy. You will contribute to safety, quality, and reliable facility operations on a 12-hour shift pattern.

Qualifications

• C&G, BTEC level 3, ONC/OND or NVQ level 3 in Electrical discipline.
• Trained in HVCA and other building service disciplines.
• Articulate, numerate and IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Provide general mechanical/HVCA/Building services maintenance support on all buildings and plant.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and corrective works on site per Maintenance Instructions and site procedures.
• Test and inspect mechanical systems in line with industry standards.
• Provide accurate feedback including test sheets, inspection sheets and work dockets.
• Ensure plant and systems are maintained for maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Carry out remedial and refurbishment works arising from breakdowns or inspections.
• Respond to reactive maintenance/breakdown calls and provide remedial work as needed.
• Develop knowledge of site system failures and their causes.
• Carry out condition-based monitoring surveys.
• Assist in minor new works installations and testing.
