Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment has an opportunity for an Electrical Services Manager in Tonbridge, Kent. The role oversees the electrical compliance contracts department and leads a team of schedulers, admins, supervisors and electricians.

Visit sites, price remedial works, and support engineers and clients with technical guidance. A strong background in commercial maintenance/compliance and EICR/NICEIC certifications is required.

Qualifications

• Electrically-qualified with NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and 2391 (or equivalent).
• Experience in commercial electrical contracting, maintenance and compliance.
• Knowledge of electrical compliance certification (EICRs and NICEIC).
• Experience leading teams of electricians and/or admin/scheduling staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day electrical compliance contracts department.
• Directly manage schedulers, contract administrators, electrical supervisors, and electricians.
• Visit clients on site, price remedial and small works, provide technical support to engineers/clients.
• Carry out technical audits and site inspections.
• Support Senior Leadership Team and Projects to grow the business.

Position: Electrical Services Manager

Location: Tonbridge, Kent

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

We currently have an opportunity available with a well-established contractor within the electrical sector who have specialised in providing electrical compliance services to prestigious commercial clients across London and the South East for the past 20+ years.

Electrical Services Manager Job Overview

• Overseeing the day-to-day electrical compliance contracts department within the company.
• Directly managing a team of schedulers, contract administrators, electrical supervisor's and both employed and contracted electrician's.
• Visiting clients on site, pricing remedial and small works, and providing technical support to engineers and clients.
• Carrying out technical engineering audits and site inspections.
• Working alongside the Senior Leadership Team and Project Manager's to assist in the overall growth of the business.

Electrical Services Manager Job Requirements

• Electrically-qualified - holding Electrical NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and 2391 Inspection and testing (or equivalents)
• Strong background within the commercial electrical contracting sector, ideally from a maintenance and compliance background
• Strong understanding of electrical compliance certification including EICRs and NICEIC certifications
• Previous experience managing teams of electrician's and/or admin and scheduling teams
• Full UK driving licence, and based within a commutable of Tonbridge, Kent

Electrical Services Manager Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £55,000 - £60,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
• Choice between a company vehicle or £450 per month car allowance
