Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an Electrical Services Manager in Tonbridge, Kent to oversee the electrical compliance contracts for a well-established contractor serving commercial clients across London and the South East.

You will lead a team of schedulers, contract admins, supervisors and electricians, visit sites to price remedials and small works, and provide technical support to engineers and clients.

Qualifications

• Electrically-qualified with NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and 2391 or equivalents.
• Strong background in commercial electrical contracting, ideally maintenance and compliance.
• Solid understanding of electrical compliance certification including EICRs and NICEIC certifications.
• Experience leading teams of electricians and/or admin and scheduling staff.
• Full UK driving licence; based within a commutable distance to Tonbridge, Kent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day electrical compliance contracts department.
• Directly manage a team of schedulers, contract admins, electrical supervisors, and employed/contracted electricians.
• Visit client sites, price remedial and small works, provide technical support to engineers and clients.
• Carry out technical engineering audits and site inspections.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team and Project Managers to support business growth.

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

We currently have an opportunity available with a well-established contractor within the electrical sector who have specialised in providing electrical compliance services to prestigious commercial clients across London and the South East for the past 20+ years.

Electrical Services Manager Job Overview

• Overseeing the day-to-day electrical compliance contracts department within the company
• Directly managing a team of schedulers, contract administrators, electrical supervisor's and both employed and contracted electrician's
• Visiting clients on site, pricing remedial and small works, and providing technical support to engineers and clients
• Carrying out technical engineering audits and site inspections
• Working alongside the Senior Leadership Team and Project Manager's to assist in the overall growth of the business

Electrical Services Manager Job Requirements

• Electrically-qualified - holding Electrical NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and 2391 Inspection and testing (or equivalents)
• Strong background within the commercial electrical contracting sector, ideally from a maintenance and compliance background
• Strong understanding of electrical compliance certification including EICRs and NICEIC certifications
• Previous experience managing teams of electrician's and/or admin and scheduling teams#
• Full UK driving licence, and based within a commutable of Tonbridge, Kent

Electrical Services Manager Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £55,000 - £60,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
• Choice between a company vehicle or £450 per month car allowance
