Job summary

Ian Williams is seeking a conscientious Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join our direct trades team in Devon & Cornwall. You will carry out on-going electrical testing (EICRs) in occupied homes, sign off certifications, and ensure kitchens and bathrooms meet high quality standards.

A full UK driving licence and 18th Edition (BS 7671) are essential. We offer a competitive salary (£44,656), potential OT earnings up to (£48,712) with bonus, a company van, uniform and pension, plus ongoing

Qualifications

Flexibility and a can-do attitude required.
Willingness to participate in on-call rota for out-of-hours work.
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) with inspection/testing knowledge.
18th Edition BS 7671 is essential.

Responsibilities

Complete ongoing electrical testing (EICRs) and repairs in occupied residential properties.
Check and sign off electrical certification conducted by other electricians; notify building control of new installations.
Ensure kitchens & bathrooms installations meet quality standards and post-inspections are completed.
Provide validation on electrical repairs, small works, and test & inspections.
