Job summary

Visum Recruitment Ltd represents a leading global manufacturer of safety equipment seeking a detail-focused Test Technician to join the Quality Assurance and Test team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will test products to predefined procedures, record build and test information, identify non-conforming items, work safely with mains voltage systems and test equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement and KPI delivery within an ISO9001 environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role testing electrical components.
• Good grasp of electrical principles.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Test products to specified procedures and record build and test information.
• Identify, reject and record non-conforming products.
• Work safely with mains voltage systems and test equipment, raising any safety concerns promptly.
• Use in-house labelling systems competently and accurately.
• Ensure conformance with ISO9001 Quality System procedures and other compliance requirements.
• Attend and contribute to production progress meetings.
• Take part in continuous improvement activities.
• Share accountability with the team for performance against agreed KPIs.
• Build strong working relationships with other departments and proactively resolve issues.
• Train colleagues when required.
