Job summary

Freedom are recruiting an Electrical Project Manager to lead fault delivery within our Cable Engineering Services contract with Northern Powergrid. You will oversee fault works, lead a multi-disciplinary team, and act as the primary operational contact with the client.

The role requires senior operational experience in cable installation/utilities with LV/HV knowledge and a valid UK driving licence, plus NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• Senior operational role within cable installation, utilities or power distribution.
• Strong knowledge of LV/HV cable networks, ideally within a DNO environment.
• NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day fault works delivery, ensuring on time and within budget.
• Lead and manage a team of Field Managers, Supervisors, Planners, Engineers and Site Operatives.
• Act as the main operational contact with Northern Powergrid and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with HSQE policies and legal requirements.
• Manage multiple fault projects from planning to energisation and handover.
• Plan and allocate labour, plant and materials to meet demands.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements to meet contract targets.
• Ensure RAMS and as-built records are completed accurately.
