Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is recruiting an Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical fit-out projects across London and the Home Counties.

You’ll manage from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating with clients, main contractors and site teams to deliver on time, within budget and to high standards, while ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and H&S requirements.

This permanent role offers a competitive salary (£60k-£75k PAYE) and benefits including profit sharing and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background and commercial fit-out experience.
• Experience leading electrical projects from pre-start through to completion.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of electrical installation packages across commercial fit-out projects.
• Act as the link between office, site and project team.
• Plan and programme electrical works around the main contractor's programme.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, M&E consultants, main contractors and other trades.
• Manage site labour, subcontractors and material procurement.
• Monitor project costs, variations and change orders.
• Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Ensure works comply with BS 7671, Building Regulations and H&S requirements.
• Attend site and progress meetings, provide project updates.
• Manage project risks and resolve issues as they arise.
• Oversee O&M manuals, test certificates and final handover documentation.
