Job summary

Rogers McHugh is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager based in or around Bristol. The role evolves from hands-on electrical work into project management for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.

You will coordinate electricians, review designs and costings, and handle procurement to keep projects on time and within budget. A car allowance is included with a salary of £50,000–£55,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician by trade who progressed to Electrical Project Management
• Experience in commercial fit out or refurbishment environments
• Ability to review electrical drawings, loadings and specifications
• Experience coordinating electricians and subcontractors
• Knowledge of BS 7671 regulations and testing & commissioning

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day management and technical coordination of electrical projects
• Coordinate electricians and electrical subcontractors, monitor programmes
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical queries
• Prepare cost estimates and obtain quotations from suppliers
• Procure materials and support project delivery
• Review drawings and ensure designs reflect project requirements
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Assist with commissioning records and final drawings
