Job summary

CBS Recruitment is recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager in Birmingham to join an established electrical contractor with a strong pipeline across Education, Retail and Commercial sectors.

You will liaise with in-house teams, manage the full project lifecycle from design to handover, ensure H&S standards, and lead site teams and subcontractors while delivering projects on time and to budget. Excellent communication and 5+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Electrical Project Manager in Commercial sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and industry certificates.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure best cost for labour and materials with in-house commercial staff.
• Manage full project life-cycle from design to handover.
• Attend progress, design and client meetings as company representative.

Electrical Project Manager

CBS Recruitment are hiring on behalf of reputable electrical contractor with solid pipeline of projects for 2027 and beyond across Education, Retail, Commercial sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join an established but growing electrical contactor with a mix of repeat business and new business.

The Role:

• Working closely with in house commercial staff, secure best cost for labour, materials ects.
• Manage the complete project life-cycle from design through to final completion & handover.
• Attending weekly progress meetings, design team meetings, client meetings while acting as a company representative.
• Liaise and communicate with estimating, commercial & contract teams.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met.
• Manage site teams including subcontractors.

The ideal Electrical Project Manager will have:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and Industry Certificates.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Project Manager working within the Commercial sector.
• Strong IT skills.
• Excellent communication and client facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks whilst keeping company standards.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering projects
