Job summary

JAM in the North East is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong Transmission & Distribution background to lead electrical infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery. You’ll coordinate engineering, construction and subcontractor teams while managing budgets, programmes and client expectations.

The ideal candidate will have HV/EHV experience, substations and grid connections knowledge, with a proven track record delivering projects from inception to handover and

Qualifications

• Strong experience within Transmission & Distribution.
• Background in HV/EHV, substations, grid connections or power infrastructure.
• Previous Project Manager / Technical Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager experience.
• Experience managing projects through delivery rather than purely design.
• Good understanding of electrical engineering and construction.
• Experience managing budgets, programmes and subcontractors.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

I'm working with an established electrical engineering business that is growing its project team and looking to bring in experienced Project Managers with a strong Transmission & Distribution background.

They're particularly interested in people who have worked on HV/EHV electrical infrastructure, substations, transmission or distribution projects and understand the technical and commercial side of delivering these types of projects.

We're looking for people with:

• Strong experience within Transmission & Distribution
• A background in HV/EHV, substations, grid connections or power infrastructure
• Previous Project Manager / Technical Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager experience
• Experience managing projects through delivery rather than purely design
• Good understanding of electrical engineering and construction
• Experience managing budgets, programmes and subcontractors
