Job summary

Freedom, part of the NG Bailey Group, is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead our Cable Engineering Services contract with Northern Powergrid in the North-East England region.

You will deliver safe, high-quality fault response and repair works, lead a field-based team, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and ensure commercial integrity across projects. A competitive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior operational role within cable installation, utilities, or power distribution.
• Strong knowledge of LV/HV cable networks, ideally within a DNO environment.
• Understanding of fault processes in a regulated utility environment.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong client and stakeholder management abilities.
• Good commercial awareness and contract management experience.
• NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Are you ready to take the lead in delivering exceptional fault response and repair works? Freedom is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to spearhead our Cable Engineering Services contract with Northern Powergrid. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of projects across the region.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

• Experience in a senior operational role within cable installation, utilities, or power distribution.
