RTL Group Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to deliver a major tunnelling and shaft project in London. The role requires strong experience in tunnelling and shaft construction and a solid background in managing underground civil engineering schemes.

The successful candidate will oversee programmes, budgets, risk management, and stakeholder liaison, while ensuring health and safety compliance and rigorous documentation control. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS Gold/Black card required.
• SMSTS qualification required.
• Experience in tunnelling and shaft construction essential.
• Experience managing underground civil engineering projects.
• Experience with SCL, shaft sinking, TBM or pipe jacking beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence required.

• Overall responsibility for project delivery.
• Managing project programmes and budgets.
• Client and stakeholder liaison.
• Managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Health and safety compliance.
• Managing RAMS, permits and project documentation.
• Managing tunnelling and shaft construction works.
• Monitoring progress and commercial performance.
• Managing project risks and reporting.
• Ensuring works are delivered on programme, within budget and to specification.
• Leading project meetings and providing progress updates.
