Job summary

Mitie is recruiting an Electrical Project Manager for Major Projects (Energy & Utilities) in Bromsgrove. You will oversee construction, installation, and commissioning of contestable connections to 132kV and related BESS infrastructure, managing scope, budget, and client expectations.

Applicants should have proven HV/LV project management experience, strong scheduling and financial control, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
Proven experience as a Project Manager within HV/LV installations – Essential
Strong knowledge of contestable connections up to 132kV – Essential
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to forward plan – Essential

Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end project management, ensuring scope, budget, and client expectations are consistently met.
Manage a portfolio of projects and maintain accurate internal/external reporting.
Engage clients for design feedback and approval submissions.
Plan programmes of work with key client contacts, establishing milestones and deliverables.
Monitor financial control, including variations, and keep accurate budget records.
Prepare detailed work instructions and ensure installation teams are fully briefed.
Conduct audits on site activities and suppliers, raising and mitigating non-conformances.
Ensure compliance with NRSWA, HAUC, DNO, and IDNO specifications.
Undertake final quality audits and submit accurate documentation for client/DNO approval.
