Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to deliver safe, compliant electrical, instrumentation, control and automation work packages for the United Utilities water framework in the UK.

You will coordinate design, procurement, installation, testing and handover across water assets, with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers. The role requires reading drawings and cable schedules, RAMS development and adherence to CDM and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

Minimum HNC/HND or degree in electrical engineering.
Experience delivering electrical/ICA works on capital projects.
Ability to read drawings, cable schedules and supplier information.
CDM/health and safety knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

Coordinate electrical and ICA work packages (MCCs, LV dist, cabling, drives, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA).
Review electrical design information and specifications for buildability and compliance.
Support procurement and package management including scope development and tender reviews.
Produce RAMS, permits, inspection and test plans, commissioning packs and handover records.
Ensure engineering delivery complies with CDM, health and safety standards and Kier procedures.
