Kier Group plc is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support major water and wastewater projects across the Thames Water region. You will contribute to design, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems from concept through handover.

This role offers strong career development and is suitable for engineers from water, utilities, manufacturing, infrastructure, power, rail and industrial sectors seeking to advance their project engineering career.

Qualifications

HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, water, power generation or industrial environments.
Knowledge of industrial electrical installations, MCCs and power distribution systems.
Understanding of health, safety and quality requirements on construction projects.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills; driving licence.

Responsabilités

Support delivery of electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle and review technical documentation.
Coordinate electrical installations with site teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
Attend Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests and commissioning activities.
Support installation and commissioning activities for LV and HV systems under guidance.
Monitor quality, safety and programme performance of electrical works and contribute to improvements.
