Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our PMR team, supporting EDF Nuclear Generation and its UK nuclear fleet. Based predominantly at Sizewell B Power Station, you’ll collaborate with client teams to deliver projects in a highly regulated environment.

Site-based with some flexibility for hybrid working, occasional travel to other UK sites may be required. You’ll contribute to engineering activities safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered status or progress towards Chartership desirable.
• Electrical experience, Controls and Instrumentation or high voltage.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with project lifecycle: engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction, installation and commissioning.

• Deliver assigned projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain alignment with client project managers and company policies.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies.
• Communicate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
