Electrical Engineer - Low Voltage

Contract duration: 7 months

Project: Undisclosed

Working hours: 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM, Monday to Friday (1-Hour Lunch Break)

Airswift is seeking a highly skilled ELV Engineer to oversee installation, subcontractor management, and quality assurance of ELV systems. The candidate will ensure all systems comply with UK standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems such as Fire Alarm, Security & CCTV, Data & Communication Networks, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Review ELV design documentation for compliance
• Manage subcontractors to ensure timely and quality work
• Conduct site inspections and audits for QA/QC compliance
• Ensure compliance with UK electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Collaborate with project teams for system integration
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support
• Maintain project documentation and reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communications Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in ELV system installation, commissioning, and quality management in large-scale projects
• Extensive knowledge of ELV systems and UK standards
• Experience managing subcontractors and QA/QC compliance
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and oversee multiple tasks
• Valid UK work permit

Work schedule: 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Contract details: Fixed-term for 7 months, ending December 2025. Compensation based on experience. Opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a leading engineering firm.
