Job summary

Nestlé Dalston is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Projects team and drive capital investment projects from design through installation and handover. You will work across Safety, Quality, Engineering and Production to deliver site improvements, infrastructure upgrades and energy efficiency initiatives.

You’ll manage project delivery, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support start-up and handover of new assets.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant electrical discipline.
• Experience managing CapEx projects, budgets and procurement.
• Knowledge of CDM, PUWER, LOLER, PSSR and contractor management.
• Ability to influence, collaborate and build trusted relationships.
• Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital investment projects from concept through to installation, commissioning and handover.
• Deliver engineering solutions that improve reliability, performance and efficiency.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Safety teams for successful outcomes.
• Ensure activities meet relevant legislation, standards and site requirements; support zero-accident goals.
• Support training, documentation and smooth project handover to operations.
