SES Engineering Services is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our central team in Birmingham, focusing on high-profile MOJ projects. You will supervise technical information flow, ensure health and safety standards, and drive efficient project progression from design to installation.

Qualifications

• The role focuses on managing the technical progression of projects, coordinating and ensuring the accuracy of all technical information, including Health and Safety data.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the mechanical services installation on projects from design through to Smart Landings.
• Collaborate with the BIM department to produce fully coordinated installation drawings for site installation or offsite manufacturing.
• Deliver a quality installation aligned with client expectations while optimizing profitability through smart design and early material selection.
• Coordinate with the planner to maintain a clear, duration-based sequence of works agreed with the client.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, design teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, communicating issues clearly and persuasively.
• Work as part of a team to operate safely and efficiently, coordinating activities with others.

What you'll be doing:

Our Project Engineers are a valuable part of our business, the focus of this role will be to manage the technical correctness of project progression, supervising the supply and co-ordination of all technical information, including Health and Safety information.

• Be responsible for the mechanical services installation on projects from design through to Smart Landings.
• Work with the BIM department to assist and produce fully coordinated installation drawings to a standard which allows clear direction for site installation or production of offsite manufacturing.
• Deliver a quality installation, in line with our client's expectations, maximising the profitability by smart design and early selection, driving our cost whilst maintaining our standards.
• Work with the planner to have a clear sequence of works with defined durations and resource loaded that is agreed with our client.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationship with customers, our design team, supply chain and relevant stakeholders. Ensuring effective communication at all times and present issues concisely and persuasively.
• Working as part of a team to work safely and economically by co-ordinating activities with others
