Job summary

SES Engineering Services is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join the central team, focusing on high-profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical MOJ projects. The role offers flexible working and competitive salary with bonus potential.

You will collaborate with the BIM department to produce fully coordinated installation drawings, drive safe and efficient site execution, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the mechanical services installation on projects from design through to Smart Landings.
• Collaborate with the BIM department to produce fully coordinated installation drawings for site installation or offsite production.
• Deliver a quality installation aligned with client expectations while optimising profitability through smart design and early selection.
• Coordinate with the planner to define a clear sequence of works with durations and resource loading agreed with the client.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, the design team, supply chain and stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication at all times and present issues concisely and persuasively.
• Work as part of a team to operate safely and economically by coordinating activities with others.

What you'll be doing:

• Be responsible for the mechanical services installation on projects from design through to Smart Landings.
• Work with the BIM department to assist and produce fully coordinated installation drawings to a standard which allows clear direction for site installation or production of offsite manufacturing.
• Deliver a quality installation, in line with our client's expectations, maximising the profitability by smart design and early selection, driving our cost whilst maintaining our standards.
• Work with the planner to have a clear sequence of works with defined durations and resource loaded that is agreed with our client.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationship with customers, our design team, supply chain and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring effective communication at all times and present issues concisely and persuasively.
• Working as part of a team to work safely and economically by co-ordinating activities with others.
