Job summary

Marshall Land Systems in Merthyr Tydfil seeks an Electrical Production Manager to lead the electrical fitting team, ensure targets are met safely and to quality standards, and drive continuous improvement. The role covers day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and escalation of complex issues, with a strong focus on SQCDP objectives and lean practices.

The role requires on-site full-time work, with a background in electrical installation within manufacturing and hands-on support for complex wiring

Qualifications

Proven experience in electrical fitting/installation in manufacturing.
Experience leading small teams or senior technician roles.
Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Fault finding, diagnostics, and resolving build issues in quality-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate electrical installation activities across production areas.
Ensure electrical work complies with BS 7671 and internal standards.
Support integration of electrical systems into mechanical assemblies and complex products.
Provide hands-on support for critical wiring tasks.
Mentor and guide Electrical Fitters and balance workloads to match production priorities.
Address hazards and ensure safe systems of work and PPE compliance.
