Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Production Engineer (Electrical Bias) in Cannock on a permanent basis. The role focuses on supporting the manufacture of electrical products and collaborating with production teams to resolve technical issues.

You will work with electrical panels and drawings, review manufacturing information, and contribute to NPI and process improvements, with a clear path to develop your engineering career in a growing manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background in manufacturing or production environment.
• Understanding of electrical drawings, schematics or control systems.
• Experience with control panels, switchgear, automation or similar electrical systems would be beneficial.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and how products move from design into production.
• Ability to work with different teams including production, design and quality.
• Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the manufacture and introduction of electrical products
• Working closely with production teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
• Reviewing engineering information to ensure products can be manufactured effectively
• Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and engineering changes
• Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation, drawings and Bills of Materials
• Identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and production processes
• Working with Design, Production, Purchasing and Quality teams to deliver projects successfully
• Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues across the business
